Where are you located?
Rare Romance is located in the United States.

Can I get a discount?
It depends on the item and the size of your order. We are more likely to offer discounts or shipping incentives on larger orders. Please contact us with a concrete offer for the items you're interested in. Requests such as what's the lowest you'll go? will not receive a response.

I want an item that's in your eBay store. Can you sell it directly to me for less?
Please contact us directly with these requests. Do not send your request through the eBay system.

domestic shipping

How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated on a case by case basis, and depends on the items ordered, their weight, and where you live. We charge actual USPS shipping rates, plus a small fee to cover packing materials. The minimum shipping amount for any order is $3.00. This includes Delivery Confirmation.

How fast do you ship?
All packages are shipped within one business day. Many times, we can ship the same day that you make the payment!

Why isn't my tracking number updating?
USPS Delivery Confirmation is NOT a tracking number. The post office is NOT required to scan the barcode at all until the item is delivered. They do tend to scan it several times while the item is in transit as a courtesy only. If the item goes several days without being scanned, that does NOT mean that it is lost, stolen, wasn't mailed on time, etc.

My package is taking too long to get here!
Once the item is dropped off at the post office, we cannot influence how fast it travels. USPS shipping times are estimates only. First class mail (which is used for the majority of our packages) generally arrives within one week. This is NOT a guaranteed service, and shipping times can be affected by holidays, mail volume, the phases of the moon, or no reason at all. Please contact your local post office or visit USPS.com to register an official complaint regarding slow service.

→ We ship really fast. The post office, however, may be really slow. We do not offer refunds for USPS errors or delays.

international shipping

Do you ship internationally?
We ship to Canada, Japan, many European countries, and several other locations. We do not ship to Italy, Australia, Brazil, or any other areas with a high incidence of postal fraud, such as the Middle East. Please feel free to contact us with specific questions about shipping!

Whoa, why is international shipping so expensive?
USPS rates for international shipping have become very high in recent years. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this.

returns & refunds

My item arrived with damage!
Please contact us with photos of the damaged package and item.

Do you accept returns?
Yes! You have 7 days from the date of delivery to contact us about a return. Refunds will be issued within 3 days of receipt of the returned items. Please note that shipping costs cannot be refunded, and that the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
